Account and data deletion
Procedure compliant with Google Play requirements and the GDPR right to erasure
This page describes the official procedure allowing any user of an application published by L&L FRANCE to request the deletion of their account and personal data, in accordance with article 17 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (the "right to erasure") and the transparency requirements of the Google Play Store.
1. How to request deletion
Method A — In-app deletion
Where the application supports it, you can delete your account directly from within the app:
- Open the relevant Webyss application;
- Go to Settings > My account;
- Select Delete my account;
- Confirm.
Method B — Email request
You may also request deletion at any time by writing to:
- Email address

- Subject
- "Account deletion request"
- Information to provide
- Name of the application concerned, email address associated with your account, user ID if known
- Processing time
- 30 days maximum (typically within 7 days)
Before performing deletion, we may ask you to confirm your identity by reply email, in order to prevent fraudulent deletion of an account that does not belong to you.
2. Data deleted
Deleting your account permanently erases the following data:
- Your account credentials (email, hashed password, internal ID);
- Your user profile (name, photo, preferences, settings);
- Personal content produced through the application (posts, files, messages, history);
- Your in-app preferences and configurations;
- Authentication and notification tokens associated with your account.
3. Data retained (and for how long)
For legal and operational reasons, certain data may be retained beyond account deletion:
- Billing data (invoices, accounting records): retained 10 years, in accordance with article L.123-22 of the French Commercial Code;
- Data necessary to defend legal claims: retained for the duration of the proceedings;
- Anonymized data (aggregated statistics, no longer allowing identification): retained without time limit;
- Minimal technical logs required for service security: 12 months maximum.
These residual retentions are strictly limited and do not authorize any commercial use.
4. Effects of deletion
Once your account is deleted:
- You immediately and permanently lose access to the application and associated content;
- Restoration is not possible;
- You will need to create a new account if you wish to use the application again;
- Active subscriptions are terminated; no refund is due for the current period, unless otherwise required by law or contract.
5. Deletion and store subscriptions
Deleting your Webyss account does not automatically cancel subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. To cancel a subscription purchased through a platform, you must do so directly from:
- Apple App Store: Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions;
- Google Play Store: Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
6. Recourse
If you believe your deletion request has not been handled correctly, you can:
- Write to us at hello@webyss.fr with the subject "Deletion complaint";
- Lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL), 3 Place de Fontenoy — TSA 80715 — 75334 PARIS CEDEX 07 — www.cnil.fr.
